I wanted to put out a big congratulations to our Fitness Coordinator and Lead Instructor Carla Jakab. Carla just added another certification to her fitness quiver, Senior Fitness Specialist from the American Council on Exercise. This program is designed to help people over 55 increase their longevity and boost their quality of life. She’s learned to develop exercise programs that specifically combat the effects of osteoporosis, arthritis and other age-specific conditions. Congrats Carla!
The aquatics class is out of its initial trial period, and expanded to meet the overwhelming demand. We now offer FOUR classes led by our water fitness instructor Sabrina Lewis. The classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Gables pool. Check at the front desk for more details.
