Trampoline Fitness

There is always something new at Balance Health Center and our newest equipment addition is a mini trampoline! Running or jumping on the trampoline has so many health benefits including getting cardiovascular exercise while strengthening your bones, (but not stressing your joints) and working your core muscles including those in the pelvic floor. Exercising on a mini trampoline has been show to improve balance, coordination, and spatial awareness–three things that are crucial to maintain as we age. Finally, the rebound action of jumping stimulates the body’s lymphatic system, which is responsible for fighting infections and clearing toxins from the body. And if all that is not reason enough for you to try it out…well, it’s just plain fun!
